AWANA

Awana is an international, Bible-centered children's and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for students in preschool through high school. Our goal is to equip churches to reach kids, and their families, with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. (Learn about the prayer, vision, mission and values of Awana.)

The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from
2 Timothy 2:15.

Awana Mission Challenge

In early January 2007the Awana club aligned ourselves with Samaritan's Purse to help with International Missions. The children decided they wanted to buy goats for a needy family and we set our goal to buy 12 goats before the end of Awana in May. Below is what has been reached to date:

Fed 9 hungry babies
Provided 5 hot meals for street children
Bought 5 blankets
Provided milk for 5 babies
Bought 216 female baby chickens
Bought 12 goats

Congratulations to the Awana Club
We Have Met Our Goal
